The dog above is pictured in a Thundershirt
that was fit by chest measurement. Note the
velcro fit a the neck. The
shirt needs to fit snug so it's best to use
the chest measurement. She's wearing
the XXL in the picture at the top but it's
more difficult to get the gentle pressure
required because there's more material and a
looser fit. In the picture here
she's wearing an XL.
Example: 64 pound
OES... she's kept lean (hip dysplasia and arthritis in
her spine) and her chest measures 28".
The large size fits her best because it
allows for the snug fit.
Note in the top picture above that the
large size shirt on this particular dog
doesn't go as far down to the hips as
the extra large size shown at the top of
this page.
